Hi Gavin,

I want to release the Jenkins plugin through Github, In the prerequisites, it says we have to create the Pull request in GitHub to the Jenkins core. I  didn't understand what to do in this step, i would be thankful to you if you could help me with this.

This is only necessary if you develop a core api change that is  required by your plugin. If you just want to develop and release a plugin based on exisiting api's, then you can just skip that.
