Platform SIG: Meeting announcement (Aug 15, 2PM UTC)

Hi all,

Today at 2PM UTC we will have a first meeting of the Jenkins Platform Special Interest Group. This is a new group focused on various platforms support: Java, Operating Systems, Architectures, Docker, Packaging, Web Containers, etc. Regarding the short term priorities, we plan to take a look at Java 10+ support in Jenkins and to cooperate with Java communities in order to improve support of various JVMs.

As usual, we will broadcast and record the meeting in Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbWO89HPMUM . Participant link will be shared in the SIG's Gitter channel 10 minutes before the meeting starts.
