I would appreciate that. I don't have time to test many things these days, so mainly I just look at the PRs to see if they make sense. If you can do some actual testing, then maybe we can accept more of them. If you would like to be a maintainer, I can put you on the list for that and you can have commit rights.
I'm happy to do a release soon if you can verify that things are working pretty well.
We would also need help in looking at the bug reports. I have not looked at them for quite a while, and I'm sure there are some important bugs that need to be addressed.
