Storing the System Log as a file

Hello,
I'm trying to find a way to store the system log as a file. Based on the documentation here: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Logging. I've created a logger for hudson.model.run.
I need to be able to log everything in the system log though. Which logger should I use to capture what the system log is capturing.
The system log I am referring to is JENKINSINSTANCE/log/all
