Hi,
The notification-plugin appears to be unmaintained. There's an outstanding pull-request from Rich Kang to fix an issue that's been causing us issues for quite some time that I'd like to merge.

Can someone either merge that pull request or give me commit access to do it myself please?  My github username is ajsutton.

Thanks,

Adrian Sutton.

Hi Adrian,

Trying to reflect the current process here:

If you wish to become a maintainer on the plugin, then great! In this case, please say so and somebody will be able to grand you the permissions. That means you're ready to work on the plugin and handle it for sometimes (and handle JIRA issues and other PRs). The process is to at least try to ping the current maintainers (see https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Governance+Document#GovernanceDocument-Helpingandtakingoverdormantplugins)

If you only wish to get your PR merged, then we'll have to wait for someone to step up and willing to take over maintenance (if the plugin actually proves to be without maintainer anymore).

Cheers

Sure I’m happy to take over maintenance of the plugin – the issue has been around for the past year so I’m not sure waiting for the patch to be applied is viable anymore.

I’ve sent an email off to the three people currently listed as maintainers.

Cheers,

Adrian.
