Problems start dal-web-apis-bin

Hello everybody,

I am started working with Jemma, so I have a FlexKey and I have installed on my VM all the package and started (./start.sh of the dal-web-apis-bin folder).

If I go from host machine to http://ip:8080/virtualhome/index.html I see

HTTP ERROR 404

Problem accessing /virtualhome/index.html. Reason:

    ProxyServlet: /virtualhome/index.html

Powered by Jetty://

Any suggestions will be appreciated

Can you try with the path /energyathome/index.html or /demo/index.html?

Try also with the /conf subpath (e.g. /demo/conf).

Why connectivity error?

That problem generally is related with the wrong setting of the JavaGAL bundle. Please double check the config.ini setting and be sure that the flexKey USB port is the right one recognized by your PC.

Also, the time is wrong (January 1^st 1970) so your environment shall be updated. If it is a Unix O.S. try using this command:

/bin/ntpclient -s -c 2 -i 3 -h ntp.ien.it >/dev/null

Andrea, the problem wasn’t resolved yet:

The time and date is correct.

But the page continue to give me Connectivity error.

Now I want to use dal-web-apis-bin to comunicate with a javascript client to GAL.

I have two flexKey and I want to comunicate from server to another pc that I can call client.

If I enter in the page /virtualhome/index.html I see:

Error getting devices list.

Why it happen?

Dear Alessandro,
the web apis module relies on the OSGi Device Abstraction Layer. In order to get it working you must be sure that you have also installed these bundles:

https://github.com/ismb/it.ismb.pert.osgi.dal (the Device Abstration Layer)
https://github.com/ismb/it.ismb.pert.osgi.dal.functions (The Device Abstration Layer standard functions)
https://github.com/ismb/it.ismb.pert.osgi.dal.functions.eh (The Energy@Home functions for Device Abstraction Layer)
https://github.com/ivangrimaldi/jemma.osgi.dal (The DAL adapter for JEMMA: it registers DAL services for JEMMA devices)

I also reccomend to update the dal-webapis bundle: https://github.com/ismb/it.ismb.pert.osgi.dal.web-apis
The devices will be listed in the virtualhome pages once they are associated and configured in the Gateway.

Dear Ivan,

Can you explain me step by step what I should do for start a functional jemma environment?

I have try several day with Linux VM to start Jemma system, everytime with connection problem.

If you write me a step by step tutorial to start jemma 0,9 with flex key, I would appreciate it.

Hi Alessandro, have you set the correct serial port?

Can you send the output log?

In order to set the serial port, you have to set the dongleuri property into the run configuration of eclipse.

Then you can see the coordinator in http://yourip:8080/Zigbee/

user:admin

psw:Admin

Thank you so much, this packet and guide will be very useful for everybody want start to use jemma.

In this day we have solved our problem by ourself and now we start to interface API with our system.
