Dynamic approval to users in a workflow

Hi All,

Is it possible to assign a task dynamically in a workflow.

I have a scenario where the users reporting manager has to be picked from AD or from local Database and then send a task to him/her.

is this possible in JBPM ?

yes, use variables as assignment - #{manager} where manager variable is set from AD
