Afternoon All,

Currently sitting at 36 articles on the month which is a bit behind our normal pace. Let's kick it into high gear and finish strong for May. Word of warning for those of you who have not written anything in a while, FanSided can lock your account out after two months of inactivity.

Afternoon everyone,

The long weekend is approaching and fans will be turned into the Blue Jays and Jays Journal as well. Let's get some articles up on the site and continue on our quest to 100 articles!

A few quick news and notes:
1. For those of you writing at night after Jays games, MLB.com usually has the most up-to-date stats while Baseball Reference and FanGraphs sometimes have a delay. Just helps with the most accurate information for next day articles
2. For slideshows, you are no longer required to have an image for your first slide. You still require a featured image, but now just go straight into the article rather than have another image prior to starting the article
3. Every article's featured keyword is Blue Jays. No exceptions. This helps with your SEO scoring on Google which helps bring more viewers to your articles. This is also a requirement asked for us by FanSided.

That being said, feel free to choose from one of the ideas below or pitch your own to the group. 

- Looking at the Blue Jays WAR as we get close to the 40 game mark (who is doing well, underachieving, etc)
- Kevin Gausman and Alek Manoah currently in the hunt for AL Cy Young (although early)
- When we will see Cavan Biggio again?
- Gabriel Moreno was removed from today's game after a HBP (news)
- Blue Jays need to sweep the Reds to get back on track (and take advantage of the easier schedule)

I would also add for the miller article that the jays offered him a contract in the off-season but he turned it down and went with the Rangers. I know shi davidi has an article on it

Hi Charles,

In order to get into the press box at Rogers, we need to be issued media credentials which FanSided has to request from the team. From my understanding, and correct me if I am wrong Chris, FanSided does not do this for us as independent contractors.
