JanusGraph-0.2.0 support for Spark-2.11.0 and scala 2.11.6

Can i use JanusGraph with spark 2.1.1 and scala 2.11.6

The compatible versions are listed here: http://docs.janusgraph.org/latest/version-compat.html — JanusGraph 0.2.0 does not support these version of Spark and Scala.

The limitation is the version of TinkerPop that JanusGraph depends on. Once JanusGraph upgrades to TinkerPop 3.3 (in progress: https://github.com/JanusGraph/janusgraph/pull/435), you'll be able to build 0.3.0-SNAPSHOT from source immediately to get upgraded versions of Spark and Scala, and it will be fixed in the upcoming JanusGraph 0.3.0 release.
