What do you mean inverted? If you are asking why is pixel 0,0 at lower
left it is a historical accident from Java image convention.  By
convention much of computer vision (at least OpenCV) uses UL as 0,0,
probably because that is how 2D matrices are printed out. But it is just
a convention.

That's strange.  Is the camera upside down?  Could you give details of the hardware camera and the AEChip class you used?  Are you sure that RotateFilter is not turned on?

I also encounter the same problem when I debug the UDP stream data recently. My source data is from a remote camera which use libcaer to record data.
Since caer use the origin as sam as the OpenCV does, the image data might be flipped in jAER.
So also please check if your data comes from caer?
