Can report be made by passing sourcefiles arguments as jar(which have the .java files) ?

Something like

java -jar jacococli.jar report jacoco.exec --classfiles payload.jar --sourcefiles sourcepayload.jar --html report

or

java -jar jacococli.jar report jacoco.exec --classfiles sourcepayload.jar --sourcefiles sourcepayload.jar --html report ?

Where the sourcepayload.jar have java files also..

No.

"--sourcefiles" must specify directories that contain java source files in corresponding subdirectories representing packages.
