Hello!

Can I generate reports with jacoco 0.7.9 for exec-files recordered via jacoco-agent v.0.8.0 ? and vice versa.

Hi,

We recommend to use latest released version for the both sides, however exec file format was not changed, so yes you can with all the positive and negative consequences of such action.
