Using JAVA API to make a simple report

I'm trying to figure out how to make a report via the JAVA API found at https://www.jacoco.org/jacoco/trunk/doc/api/overview-summary.html. The only thing I have succeeded in doing is to dump a binary from the agent remotely, but I also need to make a report, but there are some packages and it's not so revealing to me what they all do? Could you provide some simple steps or the name of those packages that I need to work with to generate an xml report of the exec file?
