Dear All,

I would like to use the EclEmma tool in order to analyse the code coverage for my project.

The latest EclEmma is using the 0.7.6 Jacoco version, but this is not compatible with my project, in which I use the 0.7.4 version.

I tried a "dirty" way to downgrade the library, replacing  org.jacoco.agent / core / report jars with the 0.7.4 version and also modifying the artifacts.xml file with the new version 0.7.6.201602180812 -> 0.7.4.201502262128
But it didn't work.

Is there a way to downgrade the jacoco libraby?

Thank you very much for your support!
Regards,
Agustin

Hi,

why don't you simply download EclEmma 2.3.2? This version contains JaCoCo 0.7.2, which should work to load exec files created with 0.7.4. Please find all versions for download here: http://eclemma.org/download.html

Also here is our compatibility matrix: https://github.com/jacoco/jacoco/wiki/ExecFileVersions

Thanks! I thought that the previous version 0.7.2 was not compatible with the next one 0.7.4!!!

Thank you again for your support!
Best regards,

Agustin

I installed the EclEmma 2.3.2 and now I'm able to upload my coverage session.

Unfortunately, the coverage displayed is always 0%. This is due to the fact that I'm using two different versions of Jacoco (0.7.4 to instrument my source code and 0.7.2 in Eclipse).

Is there a way to update just the Jacoco librabry to 0.7.4 (from 0.7.2) in Eclipse?

I downloaded the library but I'm not able to install it on Eclipse

Hi,

most likely this is not due to different JaCoCo versions but due to different class files. The class files at runtime has to be the exact same class files than the one compiled by your Eclipse IDE.
