Hi,

any chance for Eclemma 3.1.8 release to be released soon (with Java 21 support)?
Any hints why it is not released yet?

Regards,
Andrey

Hi Andrey,

current EclEmma release 3.1.7 depends on JaCoCo 0.8.10 which already has “experimental” support for Java 21.

Beside JaCoCo has been fully tested with Java 21 we say “experimental” because is does not yet include the ASM release which officially support Java 21.

Did you observe any problems with using EclEmma with Java 21?

Cheers,
-marc

Hi Marc,

I'm migrating from 3.1.6, have seen that Java 21 is not supported yet on project site, so I don't even tried with 3.1.7.

But now I see that 3.1.8 is offered on https://download.eclipse.org/releases/2023-12/ which is (currently) forwards to https://download.eclipse.org/releases/2023-12/202312061001/ which seem to be populated from https://download.eclipse.org/eclemma/updates-master/.

I'm surprised to see no "official release" but some builds offered already. Any reason why we miss the 3.1.8 official release & announcement?

Anyway, I will try now 3.1.8.202311140945 plugin version.

Thanks for the great tool!
