So, as per title, 2.10.0.pr2 has now been (mostly) released: as usual,
Scala module will be released with some delay.
Fixes are listed on:

https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson/wiki/Jackson-Release-2.10

although not separated by pr1 / pr2 (individual issues should have
that information) -- everything listed as included right now is
included in pr2, some were in pr1.

So what next? I hope that we get as much help as possible with
beta-testing, kicking the tires, so that 2.10.0 final can be released
after mid-September, that is, in 3-4 weeks. Ideally no more
pre-release version will be needed: this means that changes to API
need to be limited from now on -- not completely blocked (there are
couple of in-progress things I fully intend to still include), but
carefully considered.

I will also be maintaining my Work-in-Progress page at:

https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-future-ideas/wiki/Jackson-Work-in-Progress

and it tries to give some idea of things that are planned to still
make it in 2.10.
Work (and help) will be needed especially with:

1. Kotlin module! Lots of interest, challenging issues
2. Java 8 date/time: new contributors getting up to speed, a few
easyish starter problems that can be resolved
3. Format modules; XML, CSV, Avro. Good progress, some gnarly challenges
4. Scala module: many, many areas of improvement for anyone interested
in helping -- new core contributors welcome (and PJ just joined!)
