Selling Resolve, J40 #65

Resolve is In Port Washington NY & after enjoying her since 2001 I'll put her up for sale over the summer - our last boat.   What should I do ...e.g.  how much should I fix her up?     It's been fun....   Frank Lopresti

Hi Frank,

I’m in Annapolis and from what I can tell the boat market has slowed down. So before you go spending a bunch of money, start by giving it a really good cleaning inside and out, list it and see what happens. You can look on yacht world for other J40 for sale.

Hi Larry... we have the same vintage J40....I'm the 5th owner of Resolve - got her 2001....I'm too old to handle her now,    but I'll hang out on her over the summer, sunning at my mooring....I'll rebuild the winches.... Ciao.... Frank
