SSA J22 Fall Series

Just want to put on your radar, the upcoming J22 Fall Series scheduled for 8/22 and 8/23.

Have you given any thought to making it one day only?

Might get better turnout; but defer to you and the SSA boats as this one is yours.  I think if you have a bunch of SSA boats that are signed up for both days keep it 2 days but if you’re struggling for participation maybe do 1 day.

Hi Jake yes I have, chatted with a couple of folks.

Last year it was our best attended race when it was two days.

I was hoping others would comment here.  I'm thinking of sending an email to list of SSA members directly and see if I get more responses.

Sorry Muskrat Love has not been out much this year. I am pregnant and extremely clumsy on a good day, so I’ve been taking it easy. 

I do usually race the fall series and may still signup, but if I do it will be last minute and highly weather/wind dependent. Sorry I can’t commit at this time!
