I am trying to set my iterm2 tmux window titles but can't figure out how to prevent iterm2 from adding extra stuff. Everything works when I don't use tmux.

Basic facts:
* I use iterm2 to ssh from a local mac into a linux machine
* I run tmux on the linux machine
* I use iterm2 tmux integration

This window title is what I get (GOOD) when I have NO TMUX running:

But WITH TMUX there is an arrow on the left and stuff in brackets on the right. "Default" is the profile of the parent iterm2.

Anyone know how I can remove those? I tried most of the options in Preferences > Profiles > tmux > General > Title, but nothing seemed to work.

Here is my .tmux.conf from the remote_linux_machine:
set-option -g set-titles on set-option -g set-titles-string "#T"

Thanks in advance!
