iterm2 settings reset on close

I just reinstalled mac OSX and now everytime i close iterm 2, my settings reset to default. ANy idea what could be causing this? I was thinking permissions, but which files should i delete to remove all of it? Thanks

Check Settings > General > Settings and ensure that either “Load settings from a custom folder or URL” is off, or, if it is on, then “Save changes” is set to “Automatically”.
