Project Description:SQA will work as part of the web development team.
What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?• Experience with API testing
• Prior SQA experience testing GUI, Client/Server applications, Web applications - including ecommerce and customer account management applications required
• Prior experience testing desktop or mobile applications across two or more platforms such as: Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, or Android operating systems required
• Direct previous experience with developing/designing and testing websites to ensure conformance to WCAG 2.0 – Level A/AA, Section 508 preferred
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Unafraid to express opinions on usability, e.g. icons, visual cues, navigation efficiency, hand gestures, etc.
• Gadget geek, especially with handheld devices. Know all the secret features of your smartphone and tablet. Can argue the pros and cons of iOS vs Android. Browse tech sites such as Engadget and Gizmodo in your spare time.
• Experience using Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools
• Experience working with Web debugging tools
Prescreening Questions:• Explain experience working with Web development teams
• Explain experience writing test cases
• At least some knowledge testing websites for WCAG 2.0 – Level A/AA, Section 508 compliance
Interview Process Overview:• Manager will do an initial screening
• Then we will move to a panel interview with Web team and QA manager
