Position: PHP Software Developer /Database (605710)
Location: Chicago, IL, 60603
Duration: 4 Months Contract with Extension
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• CMS development experience using applications like Grav or Drupal
• experience using MVC frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
• experience with templating engines like Twig or Blade
• experience with developing and implementing web applications
• experience developing and deploying secure web applications on the public cloud
• experience with Microservices and REST APIs
• Expert in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5
• Proficient in one or more JavaScript frameworks like Angular.js, Vue.js or React.js
• Understanding of common design patterns and expert knowledge of Git
• A keen interest and drive to continuously learn new techniques and technologies
• 3+ years’ experience designing, developing, and implementing API solutions
• 3+ year of Agile experience
• Familiarity with application container concepts using tools like Docker
• Understanding of test driven development concepts and supportive tools like Selenium
• Experience building API developer portal and content management solutions.
• Deep understanding of Apigee is plus
• Expert knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
• Experience in a major server-less development, including infrastructure.
• Has depth and breadth of knowledge across multiple software engineering disciplines
• Experience with scripting languages like Python
• Experience with developing and deploying applications on the cloud, preferably on Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
