Role - Senior Android
Developer
Client / Location - Walgreens, Chicago
Duration - 12 months +
Skills:
• 6+ years of android development experience
• Takes ownership of work and successfully collaborates with team members in an
Agile environment
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of complex computer science and software
engineering principles
• Strong communicator and team player with solid organizational and estimation
skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Eclipse and Android Studio/Gradle, Java,
SQLite, Google Volley
• Excellent working knowledge with one of Cordova, Titanium, Xamarin
• Experience in graphics manipulation/optimization; in addition to the use of
nine patch images
• Experience leading the development and distribution of apps via enterprise
channels or public app stores
• Experience leading the performance tuning strategy of consumer applications
• Excellent knowledge of working with dynamic data (e.g., JSON, XML) through
various interface types (e.g., REST, SOAP)
• Experience working with backend technologies (e.g., Java .NET, Groovy,
Python) and eCommerce frameworks (e.g., IBM WCS, Demandware, ATG) a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
