Job Title: Web Applications Developer
Location: Montgomery, AL
Duration: 7 month contract
JOB DESCRIPTION AND ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Position Description
- Must be proficient in designing, development, testing, implementing and maintaining (SDLC) process utilizing C#.NET/ web-based applications (Web Forms)/ASP.NET/SSIS/SSRS/Web Services/SQL Server Management Studio/Visual Studio/Azure DevOps (VSTS)
- Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) that include Database Design, Developing and Implementing database designs.
- Experience with managing and utilizing the SDLC process alongside an Agile development environment
- Experience with developing ETL/SSIS packages/projects
- Strong expertise in Transact-SQL; strong ability in writing complex queries.
- Strong expertise in Data Modeling - Logical Modeling, Physical Modeling, Relational Modeling, ER Diagrams, SQL Stored procedures, Functions, Views and triggers
- Must be proficient in developing/modifying stored procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers
- Must be able to meet/communicate well with users and other team members
- Must be able to gather and analyze system requirements to insure a sound design that meets user needs
- Must be able to conduct unit testing and assist with integration testing
- Responsible for ensuring that tasks are completed/implemented within allotted time/software constraints
- Must provide status updates to management and the team on a daily basis
- Must ensure adherence to ABN development standards
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and self-motivated.
- Must attend all applicable team meetings.
- Work closely with database administrator in workflow discovery, design, build, testing, implementation, maintenance of applications (SDLC).
- Reports directly to Alabama Board of Nursing Senior Programmer Analyst. Technical Environment: Visual Studio (IDE), SQL Management Studio, Azure DevOps (VSTS)

Microsoft web development stack - ASP.NET Web Forms, Web Services, C#, JQuery, Bootstrap, Visual Studio, SQL Server, SQL Management studio Senior professional level role. Develops solutions requiring analysis and research.
Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in a specific business area.
Works on one or more projects as a project team member or occasionally as a project lead.
May coach more junior technical staff. Required skills fall into the Microsoft web development stack -ASP.NET Web Forms, Web Services, C#, jQuery, Bootstrap, Visual Studio, SQL Server, SQL Management studio
Skills Preferred:
Familiarity and experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and C#.Net.
The following skills are also preferred: ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Azure DevOps (VSTS), SSRS, SSIS Has team leader or mentoring skills in developing less skilled developers.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of application development experience in the Visual Studio/TFS/.Net environment with at least one year working with Agile methodology.
Experience Preferred:
Previous roles as a development team leader, any PPM or Scrum Master certification would be beneficial.
Experience working with a Board of Nursing or Compact license regulatory board.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field.
