Client: Cognizant/ Comcast

Primary: Teradata

Secondary: Spark/Scala/Hadoop

Job Description:

· Relational database SQL development experience and proficiency with advanced SQL concepts.

· Proficient hands on experience in Teradata

· Experience with various Teradata tools such as BTEQ, MLOAD, FASTLOAD, FAST EXPORT, TPT in large Data Warehouse environments

· (BTEQ Scripting) is required

· Performance tuning techniques

· Informatica work experience is required

· Unix shell scripting skills required

· Able to understand Communications industry

· Proactively communicate key issues and any other critical topics in a timely manner to the appropriate management level and/or to any other relevant project

· team member(s)

· Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Jira) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development)

· Experience in ETL design · Edits and reviews technical requirements documentation

· Deliver new and complex high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements

· Monitor and report status against established timelines, key success factors and KPIs for all activities.

· Understanding in Spark/Scala and Hadoop concepts.

· Nice to Have - Knowledge on AWS concepts.
