Data Analyst. Below is the job description for the Urgent Data Analyst Role. It’s a long term contract for 12 months + and interview process is phone and skype. Location is Austin, TX. Let me know if you have any consultants on bench ASAP.

 

Responsibilities:

• Determines database requirements by analyzing business operations, applications, and programming; reviewing business objectives; and evaluating current systems
• Using DataVault 2.0 modeling, obtains data model requirements, develops and implements data models for new projects, and maintains existing data models and data architectures.
• Develops data structures for data warehouses and data mart projects and initiatives
• Implements corresponding database changes to support new and existing (or modified) applications, and ensures new designs conform to data standards and guidelines; are consistent, properly normalized, and perform as required; and are secure from unauthorized access or update. 
• Develops or advises guidelines on creating data models and various standards.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the End-to-End solution from analysis to execution.
• Strong communication skills working in a collaborative team environment. 

Minimum Requirements:

• 8 years’ experience data modeling in a data warehouse environment.
• 8 years’ experience database development.
• 8 years’ experience database tuning.
• 8 years’ experience with Oracle.
