"To my Dear Friends and Community,
It’s a new month, so be prepared for some changes, changes and yes, more changes
June is really sowing the seeds for some extreme and world-altering events that will transpire in the later half of the year, clearing the way for a new order beginning in 2023. So, while things may seem a little shaky this month, there is still much to celebrate….and prepare for.
But before we get into everything happening in June, I wanted to remind you of two exciting things I will be kicking off in the next month.
The first is that I am so excited to launch my NEW digital, monthly magazine called Joni Patry’s Astrology Insights! This publication will be devoted to Vedic Astrology and other Vedic sister sciences like Ayurveda, Yoga and Palmistry and feature in-depth articles, interviews and predictions you can read and reference everywhere. Our first magazine will be dropping in July and I will be announcing how and where you can sign up for a subscription in the coming weeks so, stay tuned!
Second, it’s almost enrollment time for the University of Vedic Astrology! Our live webinars for semester one will start again on July 6th, so if you’ve ever considered getting a certification in Vedic Astrology or even just wanted to learn how to predict your own future, this is the program for you! Now, let's get right into everything June has in store for us!
Picking up where May left off, Venus will be in Aries until June 17 and it will conjunct Rahu on June 16 at 28 degrees Aries. This is a time of intensity in relationships. Whether you are coupled or single, passion is in the air which can lead to a whirlwind romance or an unexpected, extreme breakup. It’s easy (and almost satisfying) to make rash decisions and spontaneous, infatuation-fueled choices during this period, but beware, as many may lead to regret. This goes for investments and purchases too so don’t get caught up in the magic and fantasy of it all.
Mercury turns direct on June 3rd, so the very beginning of this month will feel intense. There will be setbacks, delays, problems with travel and shipments, computer glitches, and miscommunications. Inflation will still be an issue during this time. Mercury will also be conjunct Algol, the most evil fixed star of the heavens that can cause misfortune and violence so, anticipate and prepare for some major blow ups and chaos worldwide. But on a very positive financial note, Bitcoin is ruled by Mercury so as it turns direct from retrograde on June 3, the value will increase! This will also be the case as Mercury transits through Gemini July 2-16, but don’t get too comfortable because the planetary energy will change in the third week of July.
Towards the middle of the month, June 14th, we will have a Full Moon at 29 degrees of Scorpio, which is Ghandanta. Figuratively, Ghandanta indicates emotional extremes as it gives a sense of drowning or losing control, but it can also indicate literally drowning in terms of floods and severe weather. Since this Full Moon is happening in Scorpio, the poisonous tail of the Scorpion may symbolize illegal trafficking and widespread drug use, which is at an all-time high in our country and around the world. There are way more deaths from drug overdoses than Covid, which are not being reported and are not slowing down anytime soon.
Mars enters Aries June 27th and will be in the nakshatra Ashwini so things will feel like they are moving fast in your life whether that be a relationship, job, plans to relocate or even plans to travel. This is exciting and a time of optimism, light and joy when it comes to our own individual pursuits and lives. However, hold on to this feeling for as long as you can because come mid-July things will get intense and destructive.
Expect many sudden changes this month and sudden reversals…in a good way! There are major world-wide events happening right now with peaceful resolutions in sight. In terms of the war in Ukraine, I mentioned in my May newsletter that things would improve and a powerful world leader (Putin) would finally step down. This positivity and exuberant energy will be contagious and really set the tone for all of June and the first few weeks of July in which the planets will all be incredibly strong. With high spirits, the stock market will rebound at this time and cryptocurrency will make a change in direction as well so we have great things to look forward to.
Use this insight to take a break and reset. We’ve had a lot of problems, changes and challenges thrown at us over the last few months and June is really the time to exhale and enjoy your life. Really open yourself up to love and appreciate the world for all its beauty this month. Slow it down, reflect and make a plan for what you really want. We’ve been so reactionary these past few years it’s been hard to even focus on long-term goals and manifestations, so take it month by month from now on. This momentary pause in large-scale global affairs will help clear your mind and ground you in truth as something cataclysmic is just around the corner. There will be a very explosive event occurring around July 31st-August 2nd and the chaos caused by it will continue through the end of the year. This will be scary and feel like the beginning of the end, but understand that this is a much-needed big clearing and the results will bring a better world. Take care of your health, exercise and breathe deeply as a powerful way to build strength to override the stresses that will consume the last part of 2022. We have very good things coming in 2023, so hold on tight with me. We will get through it together.

Important dates for the week of June 1st:
June 1st – June 8th: Mercury conjunct the fixed star Algol.
Algol is a difficult fixed star which can often manifest in confusion and frustration and Mercury is the planet that deals with our communication and intellect. Thus, this is a time to be extremely careful when conveying your thoughts and ideas as people can misunderstand what you are saying. Be very careful when speaking publicly. Make sure your intentions are pure to avoid any mishaps with this transit.
