Received this today.  On the meeting agenda.  Something to think about?

Hi -

I work at an independent retirement community and am looking for a volunteer speaker to share the fascinating world of ham radio with our residents, who range in age from 80 to 102. We would love to learn how amateur radio operators help communities stay connected during emergencies, including storms, wildfires, earthquakes, and other disasters—especially when traditional forms of communication, such as phones or internet service, are unavailable.

Would anyone in your group be interested in giving a presentation or sharing their experiences as a ham radio operator?

Thank you,

I would attempt to get Rowland Brasch in touch with her.
The PP management is already considering a proposal that was submitted,  to resurrect and support the ham radio room, that already exists there.
