VARA license opportunity

The Issaquah EMCOMM group and some Issaquah ARC members, are doing a combined bulk purchased of VARA licenses.  This is a lifetime license, so if you might have any interest at all, it is worth the effort now.

 VARA is a digital mode designed for significantly faster and more robust data transfer.  It is particularly well suited to high content transmissions, like standard forms and photographs; and can be used on HF as well for long distance transmissions.

  Getting 10 or more to sign up in one batch saves about $20 per lifetime license. That reduces the cost to $50 per lifetime license.

  If any members are interested in getting a VARA license let  Gerard WT0F, Mihai, or myself  know. 

  No money needs to change hands until the licenses are purchased.  Each license is assigned to a specific ham radio call, so they are not transferable.
