Field Day 2025 (IARC & SnoVARC)

Good morning,

Below are the details for Field Day this year.

If you plan to share a meal with us, please let me so I can ensure I have enough food for everyone. 

We hope as many of you will join us as possible.  Valley Camp is a special place and has always been a tremendous supporter of the ham radio community.

FIELD DAY 2025

Field Day begins on Saturday, June 28, 11:00am PDT (1800 UTC), and goes until Sunday, June 29, 11:00am PDT.

Location:  Valley Camp, 49515 SE Middle Fork Rd, North Bend   (https://valleycamp.org/)

Band sign up:   There will be signs at each station to sign up for a time slot. This is to ensure that all participants are given the same opportunity to operate.  

Camping Reservations:   Please call Teena at 425-888-1852 or email her at in...@valleycamp.org and tell her you are participating in Field Day with us. 

Tents $35/per night; RVs, $45/per night   (https://valleycamp.org/ratesheet/)

Meals:

Lunch Saturday:  Potluck.  Please bring a main or side dish to share.

Dinner Saturday:  IARC and SnoVARC are providing dinner to attendees. Hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.

Sunday Breakfast:  Continental breakfast for attendees staying overnight.

I am planning on staying overnight.  I've put in my reservation for an RV spot.  All I have to do now is rent an RV.  Any suggestions?

bringing approximately small bags of chips.

I will be purchasing the food for Field Day shortly and need to get a headcount.

Hi Lara,

 

My schedule:

Friday:

1. Arrive noonish or about the same time as Rod to set up for Saturday.
2. Return home after dinner.

Saturday:

1. Arrive 8-ish to finish setting up for the 11:00AM start to Field Day
2. Either return home or set up my tent or use the bunkhouse after dinner.

Sunday:

1. Attend Rod’s scram for Sunday breakfast.
2. Finish up Field Day, demob and return home Sunday afternoon.

I will be arriving Friday morning and leaving for home on Sunday afternoon.

I'm not in a position to cook something for Saturday.  Can I bring a couple of ready-to-mix salads?  If not, is there something else that I can bring?

You and Rick are on her radar screen.  No problems there.  Also, meals at Valley Camp are somewhat unscheduled, so 1:00 or anytime early afternoon will work just fine.  Word can spread pretty fast.
