Hello to family and friends,
My dear wife Deborah Round Freng died in front of me at 9:30am this morning.
The funeral directors removed her body a few minutes ago. Kris and I witnessed it.
I have assembled a big list of all the people to notify, on the BCC line.
I will miss her terribly.
She says she will haunt me, in a good way:
- Live in a house full of her stuff
- Surrounded by her garden to maintain
We were married 21 years, but celebrated 42 wedding anniversaries.
In fall 2015 she was diagnosed with Stage 3C ovarian cancer.
Through 5 rounds of infusion chemotherapy and 2 rounds of chemo pills, she made it to May 2022.
The chemo stopped working. I took her to an ER 3 times in June, to drain fluids.
She entered home hospice 4 weeks ago.
Our son Kris Freng visited daily in the last few weeks.
Our daughter-in-law Katrina Freng (CC line) will be arranging the memorial service, not yet scheduled.
I have to clean up, grieve, and live on without her.
The hospice book has a long checklist for the survivors; no time to rest yet.
My suggestion: cherish the people you live with and love NOW, while you can.
