Good morning,

I have noticed that when I run isonet on aretomo SART reconstructions it amplifies and introduces certain artifacts into the tomograms. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a way to overcome this?

Generally I find SART reconstructions work best for my data. So being able to feed these recons into programs like isonet would save me a lot of time and improve my results. Any and all help would be appreciated! Perhaps there is a preprocessing step I could perform to smooth the uneven brightness across the tomogram?

I have attached some before and after images to demonstrate this.

Many thanks,

Dear Katie,

This issue can usually be alleviated by increasing the crop_size during prediction or adjusting the mask percentage. However, your case seems quite extreme. Could you share some data with me (yun...@g.ucla.edu) so I can evaluate further?
