Good morning,

I just analyzed a brain map for male in his 70’s. Overall he is very healthy, but he shows global theta both EO and EC. EC is much higher amplitude. He denies toxicity issues (mold, etc), denies TBI, says he feels rested every morning (although he has 1-2 cups of coffee), and denies most mental health issues. This leads me to my question:

Does Ozempic have any effect on EEG specifically with theta? That is the only drug he is taking, and he denies regular use of alcohol or cannabis as well.

Thanks,
David

Is this global theta, or alpha slowed into the theta range?

Good question. He doesn’t have any alpha so it’s quite possible this is a slowed version

What time of day did you map him? And are you positive about no alcohol use?

It was about 9 AM, and yes I believe him that he’s not drinking. His wife confirmed that too.
