iRODS on Windows

Is there anyway for Windows 10 users to interact with iRODS?   Would Metalnx or WebDav (DavRODS) be the only way?

We have heard success stories from the field about installing the iRODS iCommands on Ubuntu within the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).

Cyberduck runs on Windows.

You should be able to run the Python iRODS Client as well.

Anyone in the community doing this regularly?

Yes some of our researchers use icommands in the Ubuntu subsystem in Windows10.  This is particularly useful (and fast!) when researchers intend to transfer large files back and forth.

Thanks Terrell, I've looked through the answers on this post and I'm exploring some things with the Python iRODS client.  Cyberduck will not work because it doesn't have kerberos support.  I'm not sure if the users that will accessing the system will have the permission necessary to install the Linux subsystem.  But can the python irods client be make to work with kerberos?

Kerberos support has been discussed a couple times - but I don't believe it has been implemented.

It should be similar to the GSI work...

There is also iDrop, which I'm using, and just needs a bit of TLC. Getting KRB support in it would be a to-do, but it's (jargon) had KRB support in the past. 

It's got a lot of features, including support for parallel transfer and restart/resume/detailed error reporting built in.

It's pretty dang fast.
