ILCA Fleet Growth at RYC

Hi everyone,
Following our February ILCA D24 Fleet meeting regarding fleet growth, I have been working with RYC leadership to secure buy-in for making boats available to potential sailors. We have made significant progress in identifying RYC assets and locations.
Currently, we have eight ILCA hulls and enough parts to rig several complete boats. I need your assistance with the following to move this project forward:
- Inventory: Help gather parts and document what is broken, missing, or unsalvageable.
- Equipment Donations: We need 7-8 foil bags to organize parts and 7-8 bottom covers. Please let me know if you know of any sources for donations.
- Rental System: We need to establish a check-out/check-in process and a small usage fee to cover ongoing maintenance and wear and tear.
Please let me know if you can assist with any of these items. I hope to set aside a day for several of us to get together and complete this.

I'm considering getting together on 14-Mar. This is in direct conflict with the ACSC work day, which is both problematic and appropriate. I'm sure that means Tom won't be able to help us. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Nothing has pushed back on taking care of this work on 14-Mar. Let's do this!
I'll be providing lunch. Do people want tacos/burritos or pizza?
The plan:
Arrive around 10am
Pull stuff out of lockers
Clean the boats that have gathered moss
Take care of minor repair work - such as reattaching missing parts
Assemble as many boats as we can
Test sail a few boats
Take notes on what needs repair, has missing parts, etc.
Bring:
Water bottle
Silicone
Drill & bits
Screwdriver or driver bits for drill
rags
pop rivet gun & rivets
liquid soap
spray bottle
Notepad and pen
Sailing gear (wetsuit, PFD, gloves, etc)
Did I miss anything? Hit reply all or poke the list on WhatsApp.
