Hi Julian, 

Thanks for reaching out to us about the ILCA District 24 discount. Our previous agreement with the fleet was a three year Grand Prix sponsorship (2019-2021) which we extended to 2022 given the year off in 2020. I haven't heard from anyone organizing the Grand Prix in over a year, so the discount lapsed on 12/31/22 per the previous arrangement. 

That said, I'd be happy to reinstate - appreciate you calling that to our attention.

Does D24 plan to run a Grand Prix in 2023? 

Related, your specific user (jujub...@gmail.com) would not be eligible for the discount as you are already assigned to our Team Rider customer group with a larger set of discounts. 

Please advise re: district status or if there is someone else I should speak with; happy to continue this offer for the district and it's sailors!

Maybe with 4-5 events total across all types of venue?  (Lake, Ocean, St Francis, and RYC), with one (or a maximum of 2 events) in each type of venue. It would be highly desirable for Radial and Standards to be scored separate by the race organizers at all selected events.

We will need a scorer and someone to publish the rules.

Hello all--

Since we are talking calandar, please note RYC's Totally Dinghy will be a one day racing event this year on September 30 (unlike past years, which was two days of racing). 

I've been told that the club knows this is a Laser-centric event, and so they are encouring us to plan something on Sunday after the race day for our fleet only (e.g. a clinic, a distance race, a slalom, whatever we want) as the other dinghy fleets won't be there. Typically a group of Tahoe YC juniors come down for the regatta, and so we also want to make sure a two day event continues to attract them.

I'll send a suvrey out at some point to see what interests the fleet. In the meantime, if you have any ideas, please contact me.
