Hello D24 Sailors,
These two units compliment the 25mm Fly Block w/ Becket & Key (which has been in stock for a number of weeks), and all designed as part of Harken's latest offering in the ILCA vang hardware space.
Hope everyone had a lovely annual meeting this past weekend at Richmond YC.
We're excited to confirm that our inventory of the latest ILCA Harken Mk2 Vang Lower Unit and 29/18mm Zircon Twisted Fiddle Block (ie, the 'Twiddle') will be arriving at West Coast Sailing in the next 7-10 days. Preorders are available now for anyone looking to secure inventory in this first batch. Quantities are likely to be limited for a little while as Harken works to distribute among the various approved builder channels but our businesses have a good number on order.

Hopefully many of you saw the Harken ad in the latest issue of the ILCA sailor, and Max Hunt posted a great article about the new system in his Rigging Matters newsletter just last week.
We will be doing a joint press release and social content in collaboration with Harken next week but wanted to share this information in advance with all of you in District 24 for anyone interested in being an early adopter and/or looking for first availability. As always, these items are eligible for District 24 discount offer.
Yes, we will be building these new components into our offering of fully spliced ILCA vangs just as soon as stock arrives and we reverify measurements we took on our demo unit a few months ago. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the update Phil! And thanks again for the generous donation of prizes for the west coast sailing Grand Prix — we gave those away last Sunday.

In addition, in the meeting, Al told us that the West coast sailing now offers 10% discount instead of previous 5% for the D24 sailors! This is very generous😃 Thank you very much, Phil!

All new Harken integrated ILCA Vang components based around the new MK2 lower are now in stock at West Coast Sailing for immediate shipping. Anyone who placed a preorder should see these items shipped in the next couple days.
We have 25+ lowers and 15+ each of the twiddle block and 25mm upper fly block on the shelf. Sorting out final details of our pre-spliced offerings based around these components, more on that soon. Our team on the ground at ILCA Midwinters East reporting positive feedback from sailors who have had a chance to take a look at the new kit in person.
