The OneRoster API is separate from the regular Aeries API. OneRoster is a specification created by IMS Global, and the Aeries OneRoster 1.1 API is built around that specification. The endpoints, data elements, etc. are all standardized. The emphasis is on rostering and gradebooks, so many of the data types exposed by our regular Aeries API are not present in the OneRoster API, and those that overlap are presented in a different format due to the OneRoster specification.
You can find information about OneRoster at the IMS Global website: http://www.imsglobal.org/oneroster-v11-final-specification
You can find documentation on the Aeries implementation of the OneRoster API here: https://support.aeries.com/support/solutions/folders/14000115099

Subject: [interfacing-with-aeries] Seeking clarification on OneRoster API
Hi,--
I'm just seeking clarification but is the OneRoster API essentially an extension to the existing REST API that Aeries uses?
Thanks in advance,
