Hi,

I am trying to reference,
/dev/mtd0 as /dev/cpld within the open() call.

This could be done using a udev rule. But can we add this with in the device tree and reference it as /dev/cpld ?

Any guidance and link would be helpful please .

Thanks,
Puneeth

As far as I understand, device tree is an hardware emulation. And the device file names are more of an agreement between driver, udev, user space.

Thanks & Regards
