I’m using Innosetup version 6.2.0 and can’t get past the above error message. Any help to assist me in fixing this problem is appreciated. Thank you.

Exclude your exe output folder from any Anti-Virus/-Malware scanners. If that doesn't work, give more details.

Below is how I have it written within Innosetup:

Name of the Sign Tool:
My_Sign_Too

Sign tool
My_Sign_Tool=C:\ESD\My_Sign_Tool.pfx $f

There are examples in the documentation for setting up the sign tool. Did you look?

Yes. I followed to a tee the best of my knowledge. I still get the error message I show at opening of this thread.

Then click on the "digitally signed" link on that page.

Here's a hint:

The error message you get is correct, because you are passing in a pfx filename. The first part of the statement you are creating should point to the signing exe.

Thank you for your efforts. I checked out the link you provided but am a bit lost on "where do I get or find” the install.exe file? I don't recall using it in the past like about 6 years ago it all worked and I was just using the same command now as I did then. So like where do I find a executable sign tool? Again, Thank you for your efforts.
