Dear all,

When I ran the code with sr-matrices from the blog written in 2022, I met this issue:

"
File pyproj/_transformer.pyx:459, in pyproj._transformer._Transformer._transform() ProjError: x, y, z, and time must be same size
"

But I ran successfully and get the same results when using the blog 2019's code.
Does anyone can help me fix this problem?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Steven,

I can't remember encountering the same error before, but my guess is that either your emissions data hasn't been projected to a two-dimensional coordinate reference system, or, if it has, it's not properly aligning with your NCF file. Please check these aspects to see if you can resolve the issue

Best,
Anil

Hi, Anli,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Now I have fixed this problem, it is mainly because the package "pyproj"'s version does not match this code.

And I have another question that may need your help. The blog 2022 used the dataset from 2016, and the emission data, they mainly used the "EGU". This mainly considers the EGU unit. I would like to ask if I want to study all types of emissions, not just emissions from EGU units. Do I need to download the 2016 Point and Nonpoint emission data? I noticed that the blog only used the EGU part of the 2016 Point emissions. Do these two zip files (Point and Non-point) cover all facilities that can generate emissions? In addition, I would like to confirm whether only the EGU unit is the emission generated by power generation, and the rest of the files are not the emission generated by power generation。

Thanks a lot for your help!

Best,
Steven
