Sports & Activities Tracking for PSA Graduation Tracking

Hi everyone, 

No giant updates on this project yet but we're moving along in the right direction figuring things out. 

We have to find a letter "grade" to use for completion of an activity or sport in IC. Welcome to feedback on what is below. We'll be using the activity course tool & can make that print on the transcript separate from the regular content courses.

1) We want to communicate to other districts and parents that a student completed the activity/sport & it counts towards PSA. Then we will use that info to populate the spot where the state reporting fills on the extract. Our district Athletic Director isn't concerned with reporting students who dropped, quit, or were dismissed. Only completions.

2) We don't want to use these options because each letter is a common grade for content work

     C for Completed

     A for Achieved

     
3) So far we've settled on S for Successful or Successfully Completed.

I think S works! I thought about P, for participated, but some schools may have Pass/Fail classes marked with a P.

Yes! I forgot why we rejected P, but it was due to the Pass/Fail issue :-)

I think we are thinking about S for Satisfactory (or Successful) and NS for Not Satisfactory.  However, if everyone else comes to a different letter, we can change.
