I know there was some discussion if a kid plays sports two years in a row does it count as 1 or 2.
Yes, you could allow for the same athletic team/activity to count for two or more. When reporting this to KSDE, you would wait until the student has participated in the activity for two years and completed the requirement.
Ex. 10th grade student participates in golf, same student participates in golf 11th grade- report assess to KSDE after student’s 11th grade year.
