PSA Workday opportunity on April 15th

Good morning everyone, 

Nicole sent out great step-by step directions setting up the PSA's as academic programs earlier this year. If you prefer to work on those in person for support & to copy off Turner & KCK's work we will host a workday. 

You may or may not be the person who has all the details and will be setting these up so feel free to discuss with that person or persons. Send or bring them to the workday is you like.

The goal is for you to leave with 80%+ of academic programs set up & connected to a graduation program that can be used with 11 graders next fall.

This time of year rooms start to fill up so I have reserved our space for Wednesday, April 15th.  Please let us know who will attend. You may need someone besides the recipient of this email to be able to complete the work.

Agenda with more details & parking directions attached. For our Missouri friends a PSA = an MVA.

I confirmed with my counselor and Jared that they will be coming.  So 3 of us for sure.  He is reaching out to the counselors at DWest and Troy to see if they want to come.  Thank you for offering a time out of the building that neither of us will have students/teachers walking in our doors.  I have started with the notes too many times and haven’t been able to focus on them long enough to get anywhere.

Good afternoon everyone!

Minor update to our plans next Wednesday. We will meet at the Central Office Building, top floor, room 333 in the morning. This is the building we hold the user conference in, so many of you will be familiar with it.. We're approaching 20 people (!!) and I'd rather we not have to squish. Due to the building change I can't open the doors until 8:00 am, instead of 7:30 so adjust your alarms.  New copy of the day plan with map is attached. Changes or additions to the plan have been changed to red text.  Am still planning to have nachos for lunch.

If you need to reach me that morning my cell phone is 913-278-9040. Very excited to see everyone and get this work settled in Infinite Campus so the new vendor and Cherie can start working on related tasks.

Hey Karleen,

You mention in your document that we need graduation plans set up. How many need to be set up? Like I have a basic one set up that I assign to all students and basically it lets the state reporting to calculate credits for the students. Will that work or do I need multiple plans or something more robust?

Hi everyone!

Stacy - One will be fine. I'll suggest that we just use the copy feature to make one you can attach PSA's to tomorrow. If you decide later it needs revisions, adjustments, or details that can happen later.  

Leslie & Marilyn - there will be lots of people with experience after tomorrow. We'll find you support when the time is right.

Everyone - see you in the morning, doors open at 8 a.m, real focused work starts at 9a.m. sharp. We will make a pot of coffee & the tea/cocoa basket will be there as well.
