Hi everyone,

I am reading INET manual. For BMAC (weblink below), can anyone tell me what is the difference between macMaxFrameRetries and maxTxAttempts parameters?

The description is written in above link, however, i got confused as both parameters are only used when ACK is enabled.

Kind Regards,

The answer is quite simple, one is used and the other is not :)

This macMaxFrameRetries parameter seems to be completely unused and should be deleted, I guess.

Hi Ievy, thanks for your response. May i ask you if both are used what each parameter actually is representing? I meant from the theoritical perspective, are there any differences between these two parameters?

Kind Regards,
