Tutorial-cum-Hackathon Workshop on Tamil NLP Tools and Chatbot APIs

Tamil Internet Conference 2019,

Sept. 20-22, 2019, Anna University, Chennai

 

A Pre-Conference-Tutorial-cum-Hackathon on Tamil NLP Tools and

Chatbot APIs for students and professionals to develop applications in Tamil.

 

This Workshop-cum-Hackathon will have three parts.

1. A 3-day hands-on tutorial Workshop on Tamil NLP tools at Anna University from 7th June 2019 to 9th June 2019.

2. A 24-hour Hackathon on 6th and 7th July 2019, for the participants to develop applications using the 

tools and technologies learnt during the tutorial, and build a prototype of their application.

3. Participants submit their full product/application by 15th August 2019 by uploading their work to 

TIC-Github for a Competition.

Prizes will be awarded to three top applications during the conference. 

The participants will be guided by professionals and experts on Tamil computing.

The fees for the entire package will be Rs. 2000/- per participant. 

Those willing to participate in this unique event have to register at the conference website
