Looks like some Pyracantha sp. -- Regards, Dr. Nidhan Singh

Pyracantha - species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available) As per this there is only species - Pyracantha crenulata , but post by Sawmliana ji looks a bit different.   May be some Cotoneaster species ?- Cotoneaster- species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available)

There has been always  some confusion in identifying the plant species  when dealing with a few  species  of  Pyracantha and Cotoneaster.
I have seen a few species of these plants   in  California . But do not have photographs.   I think the following link might help you in arriving at the right species  :
