Sir,namaskar. I  visited the page of Ampelocissus (latifolia Roxb.) in EFI , found Panisaru,Tiniangulia as vernacular name in Odia ,which is to be corrected. I am attaching pages from 3 major books 

1). THE FLORA OF ORISSA1994publ.

 Odia names-Pani kacha,Paninoha,Paniamoha,Dibroi, Kanjianoi.

2).UDVIDA SANGRAHA - Prof MalyaKumar Misra1998publ.

Odia names-Kanjianai,Pani Lahi,Kanjinai,

Panikachha.

3).FLORAL DIVERSITY OF NANDANKANA

WILD LIFE SANCTUARY2012 Publ.

Odia names-Pani Kacha,Kanjianoi.

  And Sir, odia word Pani saru is for Lasia 

spinosa (L.)Thw,Araceae - page also attached of Prof MalayK Misra

Sir,I request you to peruse the above & insert correct Odia names for Ampelocissus latifolia(Roxb.),

I will incorporate the names in my notes in some time from now.

May I request you to please provide the names: dibroi, kanjianoi, pani kacha, pani lahi, paniamoha, paninoha in Odia script. Otherwise adding them with just Roman spellings gives rise to ambiguous pronunciations. 

Jayanta ji, I heavily depend on an online dictionary - Purnnachandra Ordia Bhashakosha by Praharaj, G.C. It is authentic, though the scientific names are most often found wrongly spelled.

The name is shared among

1) some species of Colocasia, 

2) Lasia heterophylla (Roxb.) Schott ... synonym of Lasia spinosa (L.) Thwaites

3) Vitis latifolia Roxb. ... synonym of Ampelocissus latifolia (Roxb.) Planch.

The name is shared among

1) Vitis latifolia Roxb. ... synonym of Ampelocissus latifolia (Roxb.) Planch.

3) Adiantum lunulatum Burm. f.

Let me know, whether you still think the above names are incorrectly referred to Ampelocissus latifolia (Roxb.) Planch.

Thank you very much Jayanta ji for the clarification.

Whether the publication is inclined towards literature or taxonomy, associating vernacular names to botanical names, requires the same study / research.

I will retain the names listed in dictionary, unless someone authoritatively clarifies ପାଣିସାରୁ panisaru and ତିନି ଆଙ୍ଗୁଳିଆ tini angulia are incorrectly entered as names of Vitis latifolia syn. of Ampelocissus latifolia.
