Thank you Mahadeswara ji!

You mean Achyranthes coynei Santapau   Syn: Achyranthes aspera var. porphyristachya (Wall. ex Moq.) Hook.f.  ?

Images here have uncanny similarity to your specimen . Achyranthes bidentata for me (I have recorded it from Matheran WG) .
And it is definitely not A. aspera or any of its varieties . Neither A. coynei for its lack of very long spikes .

Thanks, Rakesh ji, for the id.
As per keys at Flora of China:
2 (1)Leaves obovate, broadly obovate, or elliptic-oblong, apex obtuse with a mucro; bracteoles spiny, 2-winged at base; pseudostaminode long fimbriate and ciliate at apex. 1 A. aspera
+Leaves elliptic or elliptic-lanceolate, apex caudate; bracteoles spiny, 2-parted at base; pseudostaminode serrulate at apex. 2 A. bidentata

As leaves are elliptic or elliptic-lanceolate and apex caudate, it should be Achyranthes bidentata

Hi, Saroj ji,
Can you post original of 3rd and 4th image. I want to understand bracteoles 2-parted at base ?
