Unidentified plant from Eaglenest, Arunachal Pradesh

Hello All,

Please identify this vine photographed on 20 April 2012, Near Alubari, Eaglenest, Arunachal Pradesh, India By Mr Purnendu Roy,

Flowering absent, Habitat ;- about 1300-1400 asl, subtropical forest typical of Arunachal pradesh, but on northern slope so probably not as high rainfall as typical.

Behalf of Mr Purnendu I am posting this image with his prior permissions, please identify.

Interesting
May be Prem ji is right

but its bit odd that an acer is not trying to develop even some rudimentary
palmate features 
too smooth an outline of the few leaves we are seeing

is it possible to see some more, esp older leaves versus younger leaves?

Common in West Kameng region of Arunachal Pradesh and other regions of AP
